Since January, our project has been supported by a new advisor, Renjie Mao. He brings strong motivation and a genuine interest in our work. Over the past two months, we have had the opportunity to get to know him better, exchange ideas, and take our first steps together. We are very much looking forward to continuing our collaboration and benefiting from his insights and perspective.
Within the team, there has been a change in project leadership. The role of administrative lead has been handed over from Linus Wasser to Hannes Specht. We would like to thank Linus for his dedication and commitment and look forward to continuing the project under Hannes’ leadership.
At the same time, the latest version of our leg prosthesis has successfully undergone a series of static load tests. The results demonstrated that the prosthesis can withstand high loads and confirmed the robustness of the current design. These outcomes represent an important milestone and provide a strong foundation for the next stages of development.
We also reached a significant logistical achievement: the first shipment of filament has safely arrived at our partner organization in Kenya. This marks an important step toward closer collaboration and practical implementation on site.
In January, we also took part in the annual New Year’s reception of Enactus Aachen. The event offered all projects the opportunity to reflect on the past year, share progress, and look ahead with excitement and motivation toward the coming year.
To round off the past weeks, the team also came together for a relaxed billiards evening, an enjoyable break that strengthened our team spirit and collaboration.
