Our Arm prosthesis
Our 3D-printed forearm prosthesis combines a natural appearance with practical, user-focused design. It is lightweight, comfortable to wear, and easy to adapt, making it a reliable everyday solution for people with forearm amputations.
Structure of the arm prosthesis
The cosmetic hand is 3D-printed and shaped and colored to resemble a natural arm, ensuring an inconspicuous appearance.
It is connected to a 3D-printed support plate that is individually thermoformed to fit the user’s stump. Numerous openings keep the prosthesis light, well ventilated, and structurally stable.
Fastening and wearing comfort
Straps with buckles at the proximal end wrap around the elbow, offering a secure hold without the need for complex fastening systems.
The interior is lined with a thin foam mat to reduce pressure points and increase comfort, even during extended wear.
The aim is to provide a cost-effective, quickly adaptable solution that gives people with forearm amputations greater independence and dignity.
